Eligibility:
1. A savings account comes with a passbook and cheque book feature.
2. You can receive payments and make payments from your savings accounts.
3. Auto debits and auto credits can be set up from your savings accounts.
4. Banks offer ATM cum debit cards to savings bank account holders.
5. A savings bank account earns low interest rate but allows the customer the freedom to withdraw funds at any time subject to a limit on monthly withdrawals.
6. It is possible to pay bills from your savings account linked ATM card.
7. Banks also send transaction alerts to their customers via SMS as a part of SMS banking services.
Purpose:
1. Purchase or construction of new house/flat.
2. Purchase of old house/flat or extension of old house.
3. Repair or renovation of existing house/flat.
Documents Required (applicable to all applicants):
1. Loan Application: Loan application form duly filled in affixed with 2 passport size photographs.
2.Proof of Identity (Any one): PAN/Passport/Driving License/Voter ID Card.
3. Proof of Residence/Address (Any one): Recent copy of Telephone Bill/ Electricity Bill/Passport/Voters ID card/ Aadhar Card.
4. Last 6 months bank a/c statements for all bank accounts held by the applicant.
5. If any previous loan from other banks/lenders, then loan account statement for last 1 year.
6. Personal asset liability statement in the Bank’s standard format.
Income Proof for Salaried Applicant/ Co-applicant/ Guarantor:
1. Salary Slip or Salary Certificate of last 3 months.
2. Copy of identity card issued by the employer.
3. Copy of Form 16 or IT Returns for the last 3 financial years, acknowledged by IT Dept.
4. Copy of employer certificate, appointment letter(duly attested by the employee).
Income Proof for Self Employed/ Co-applicant/Guarantor:
1. Proof of business address.
2. Copy of IT returns for the last 3 years.
3. Balance Sheet & Profit & Loss A/c for last 3 years.
4. Business Proof (Registration Certificate of establishment, Trade License, Sales Tax Registration, etc.)
5. Copy of certificate of practice (if applicable).
6. TDS Certificate (Form 16A, if applicable).
7. Copy of Registration Certificate for deduction of Professional Tax (if applicable).
8. Copy of challans evidencing payment of Advance Income Tax.
Property Documents (applicable to all applicants):
1. Agreement for sale (duly registered for states where applicable), Construction agreement.
2. Blueprint stamped by Municipal Authority.
3. Payment receipts to builder/seller.
4. Original copy of land tax paid receipt & possession certificate issued by the revenue authorities.
